Travel All Russia logoMy Recent Trip to Russia

Officially, its name is "Treasures of Two Capitals Tour" sponsored by Travel All Russia. My trip took place between July 12 and July 18, 2014. The 12th and 18th were spent traveling there and back. The actual tour days were the five in between.

The first two days were spent in Moscow, the last three in St. Petersburg to the north, near the Gulf of Finland.

As the name implies, the tour centered on buildings and locations important to the Russian people. With a storied history that dates back centuries, the citizens of the largest country on Earth (9 time zones!) do indeed have a lot to be proud of. Much is made of their leaders, the tsars, and their victories over Napoleon in the early 1800s and the Nazis during World War II.

I've divided the days out by web page. Some will have numerous pictures. Others not so much.
