A Warden’s Path is Never Easy

With the Nassara in full retreat after a century of war against the overweb’s three remaining overworlds, Warden Maels Raptori, leader of the Guild Guard, undertakes one final mission before resigning himself to life behind a desk running his highly successful organization. On paper his mission seems an easy in-and-out data theft. But when the mission is interrupted by operatives from an unknown organization, Maels and Meneu pursue them through their open underportal opening. In the process they come into possession of lattice of data crystals containing information that will alter the course of the war.

For there is a third player involved now. One with the strength and ability to destroy an overworld, and shift the balance of power back to the Nassara. While the remaining overworld armies scramble to contain a new Nassara assault, Maels, Meneu, and his team of operatives pursue this new and dangerous foe, knowing their time is running out. This new player has in her possession the¬†plague that left Maels the lone Raptori among the overweb’s strands, and makes her intent to use it quite clear. Her first target: the Oladi homeworld.

If she succeeds in unleashing the Wipe, the worlds of the overweb will have no choice but to bow to her wishes.

Crippled, his weapons practically useless against her, Warden Maels Raptori realizes that the only way to beat her may be to destroy the very thing she seeks to dominate. But bringing down the overweb’s strands will kill billions, and leave countless more facing dark times. And Maels knows there’s no guarantee he’ll survive the destruction of everything and everyone he knows and loves.

Witch Warden: The Ux-Blood Trilogy, Book III follows Warden Maels Raptori as he makes a desperate last stand against the most powerful and terrifying foe he’s ever faced. Even with new and powerful allies at his back, he alone must stand against the enormously powerful Kerrid known as Copperfox and somehow prevent her from unleashing the most destructive force the overweb has ever seen.
